Join our dynamic team as a Local CDL B Driver in Salisbury, MD, and take on an exciting role that keeps you moving and earning!
-Monday-Friday
-shifts start at 5am, lasting 12 hours daily
-$25 per hour plus overtime after 40 hours
-requires at least 3 months of commercial driving experience
Responsibilities
- Driver will report to specific location to pick up PODs unit, and will then transport it to a commercial business, or to a residential home. The unit will be loaded/ offloaded by hydraulic lift ("Podzilla"). Saturdays will be part of the schedule, drivers will typically have 3 Saturday's off a month, depends on the size of the market & number of drivers. There is a set start time but not a specific end time, end time will be when routes are finished which usually take around 12 hours

Skills
- Proven experience driving commercial trucks such as tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or refrigerated trailers with manual transmission knowledge
- Strong understanding of logistics cargo handling, truck loading/unloading procedures, and route driving strategies
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning and delivery execution
- Knowledge of hazardous materials regulations (Hazmat) and dangerous goods handling protocols
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks related to freight loading/unloading safely and effectively
- Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety compliance under DOT regulations
- Experience with over-the-road (OTR) driving routes preferred but not required; local route experience is essential
