Equipment Maintenance Technician 2nd or 3rd Shift

Due to continued expansion, Suncast Corporation is hiring experienced Equipment Maintenance Technicians for 2nd or 3rd shift. This position is a long-term growth opportunity for an ambitious, career-minded Equipment Maintenance Technician interested in a career with a major manufacturer of consumer products.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Install, maintain, and repair production equipment.
• Diagnose problems. Determine what repairs are required and determine the equipment, supplies, and skills needed to complete the repairs.
• Operate machine tools as required to install and repair equipment.
• Demonstrate good communication skills with maintenance and production personnel.
• Perform major equipment repairs.
• Work collaboratively with team members; mentor and train maintenance helpers.
• Support and comply with all Suncast safety policies, quality standards, and housekeeping methods at all times.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Five or more years’ experience in industrial equipment maintenance required.
• Technical experience and/or training in two or of these areas - mechanical, electrical, pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Experience in plastic injection and/or blow molding a plus.
• Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing.
• Reliable, proactive and willing to take initiative.
• Experience using microprocessor-controlled equipment.

The Anticipated Pay Range for This Position: $22.00-$25.00 hourly
