Position Summary
The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and comfortable environment throughout our assisted living and memory care community. This position plays a vital role in promoting the health, safety, dignity, and quality of life of our residents.
Responsibilities
- Clean resident apartments, bathrooms, and common areas daily.
- Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, and sanitize all assigned areas.
- Make beds and change linens as scheduled or needed.
- Clean windows, mirrors, furniture, and fixtures.
- Empty trash and dispose of waste properly.
- Replenish housekeeping supplies and report low inventory.
- Follow infection control, OSHA, and safety guidelines.
- Report maintenance concerns or safety hazards promptly.
- Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality.
- Interact with residents in a friendly, respectful, and professional manner.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred (healthcare or assisted living experience is a plus).
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and remain on your feet throughout the shift.
- Must successfully pass a Level II Background Screening and drug screening (if applicable).
