Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years MS RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Schedule/Hours:
- 12-hour shifts (0700-1900 or 1900-0700)
- Weekend rotation: every other weekend
- No on-call requirement
- Schedule cycles every 6 weeks
- Up to 6 days off (excluding holidays, with hours added to the end of assignment if necessary)
- 75% of holidays worked expected
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality patient care for adult medical-surgical and telemetry populations, including stroke, COPD, chest pain, and GI issues
- Complete NIH stroke assessments and perform chest tube management, PIV starts, trach care, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and NGT placement
- Manage medication drips (cardiac, heparin), blood products, PCA pumps, IV fluids, and a wide range of patient drains/tubes
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including CNAs, phlebotomy, respiratory therapy, and hospitalists
- Accurately document patient interactions and interventions in Epic EMR
- Float within facilities in the designated region, ensuring flexibility and adaptability
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Active RN license
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 18 months of recent Med/Surg-Tele experience
- Proficiency with general Med/Tele skills, including stroke care and cardiac monitoring
- Comfort with floating to multiple facilities within the region
