Travel Registered Nurse - Catheterization Lab - Waterloo, Iowa

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This nursing opportunity will see you working in a Cath Lab alongside talented professionals, providing exceptional care while gaining experience in a fast-paced, cutting-edge environment. Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Call rotation every 3 weeks
• Every third weekend required

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active RN licensure in good standing
• Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab nursing experience
• Proficiency in Cath Lab protocols, procedures, and emergency interventions
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong critical thinking, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in high-pressure, team-oriented settings

Role Duties:

• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional cardiovascular procedures
• Monitor patient status pre, intra, and post-procedure
• Administer medications, IVs, and contrast agents as directed
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Respond promptly to emergency situations and participate in code response
• Collaborate with interdepartmental teams to optimize patient outcomes
