Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.An opportunity is available for a skilled Cath Lab Technologist with strong imaging experience to support a Level II Trauma acute care hospital. This position involves working in a fast-paced environment requiring proficiency in both cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology procedures. The role is a 13-week travel contract based in Rockville, MD, offering a four-day, 10-hour shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, totaling 40 hours per week.Key Responsibilities:Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures with precision.Assist in interventional radiology (IR) cases, demonstrating versatility in imaging techniques.Support neurointervention procedures, with preference given to those experienced in this area.Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Cerner and McKesson charting systems.Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care in a trauma setting.Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain compliance with hospital standards.Qualifications and Desired Experience:Minimum of two years experience as a Cath Lab Technologist.Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT, and a valid MD State License or RCIS certification.Strong cath lab and interventional radiology skills.Experience in neurointervention is highly preferred.Proficiency in electronic medical records systems, specifically Cerner and McKesson.Location Overview:Rockville, Maryland, offers a dynamic urban environment with convenient access to numerous cultural attractions, parks, and excellent healthcare facilities.
