The position spans from August 31, 2026, through June 17, 2027, and offers you the chance to work with both secondary and elementary age groups. Secondary caseloads average 45 students, while elementary caseloads are typically around 42 students, ensuring a manageable and engaging workload.
Required qualifications and experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Washington SLP license
- Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- School-based SLP experience preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to culturally responsive and inclusive practices
Key responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess student speech-language needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver therapy to students individually and in small groups
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with district and state requirements
- Collaborate with families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress monitoring
