Speech Language Pathologist in Lutz, FL

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active SLP license in Florida
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellow candidates will be considered
• Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly valued
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other educational staff

Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students with a wide range of abilities
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educational teams
• Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy services to students both individually and in group settings
• Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and state guidelines
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and collaborate with families to support student goals
• Offer training and resources to school staff as needed to support students’ communication development
