Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license in Florida
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellow candidates will be considered
- Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly valued
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other educational staff
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students with a wide range of abilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educational teams
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy services to students both individually and in group settings
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and collaborate with families to support student goals
- Offer training and resources to school staff as needed to support students’ communication development
