This is a full-time, on-site position working with students who require individualized educational support.Responsibilities:Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal guidelines. Provide specialized instruction tailored to students academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs. Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success. Utilize data-driven strategies and progress monitoring to adjust instruction and interventions. Maintain accurate records and adhere to all reporting requirements. Qualifications:Bachelors degree (Masters preferred) in Special Education or a related field. Valid New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE) Teacher of Students with Disabilities (TOSD) endorsement or eligibility. Possession of one of the following certificates (required for classroom placement): Teacher of Students with Disabilities (TOSD)OR a dual certificate in a content area and TOSD endorsement. Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
