Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized nursing care to students with chronic health issues, including catheterization, tube feeding, and tracheostomy care.
- Oversee and coordinate activities of ancillary personnel supporting student health.
- Provide health counseling and education for students, parents, and school staff to promote safer environments.
- Manage the care of sick or injured students and staff within the school.
- Collaborate with school personnel to develop health plans and safety interventions.
Qualifications:
- Valid LPN or RN License issued by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
- Preferred: Valid School Nurse Certificate from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum of one year nursing experience; experience in school nursing is highly preferred.
