Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid School Psychologist credential or certification (as required by the state)
• Previous experience in a school setting, working with children or adolescents
• Familiarity with special education processes, including assessments and eligibility determination
• Strong background in providing counseling, developing intervention plans, and crisis management
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to maintain detailed records, adhere to timelines, and balance multiple priorities

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for students, including cognitive, academic, and socio-emotional assessments
• Consult with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Support students through direct counseling and intervention services
• Collaborate on and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
• Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
• Assist in developing and monitoring behavior intervention plans
• Participate in staff training, RTI/MTSS initiatives, and professional development sessions
