Key Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan School Psychologist Certificate (required)
• Experience conducting cognitive and developmental assessments
• Familiarity with special education evaluation processes
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to participate in or lead multidisciplinary meetings

What You’ll Do:

• Administer assessments to identify student needs in attention, adaptive skill development, behavioral support, autism, and related areas
• Collaborate with evaluation team members on initial and re-evaluations
• Provide expertise in cognitive testing and developmental assessments for eligibility determinations
• Work closely with MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) teams to recommend special education referrals as appropriate
• Actively participate in Functional Behavioral Assessment and Positive Behavior Support Plan meetings
• Lead both initial evaluation meetings and selected re-evaluations
• Contribute to Manifestation Determination Reviews to help guide student-centered decisions
