School Occupational Therapist | Arcadia, Louisiana

Exciting opportunity for a skilled Occupational Therapist passionate about supporting students' growth and success. This contract role offers part-time hours in an engaging school environment near Arcadia, LA. You'll collaborate with dedicated teams across four school sites, making a positive impact in the district.

Key Qualifications:

• Active and valid Louisiana OT license required
• Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred
• Ability to provide services across multiple locations
• Comfortable supervising a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
• Openness to both onsite and temporary virtual service delivery
• Available for services on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and PreK evaluations on Fridays
• Previous experience with IEP processes and interdisciplinary teams is a plus

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students across multiple school sites
• Supervise and support assigned COTA to ensure quality care
• Conduct thorough assessments and PreK evaluations as needed
• Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other professionals
• Document services and maintain accurate records according to state and district standards
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote student independence
• Travel between sites as part of the regular working schedule
