School-Based Physical Therapist - Hopewell Junction, NY

This contract opportunity begins as soon as possible and extends through June 2027, offering you the chance to work closely with a small caseload and build lasting connections in the school community.

You'll deliver in-person PT support for two elementary-aged students, conducting four 30-minute sessions each week—all conveniently scheduled within one school. This role is structured for approximately four hours per week, making it ideal for clinicians seeking a flexible, supplemental position.

Qualifications:

• Current Physical Therapy licensure in New York (NY PT)
• TSSLD certification required
• Experience working with pediatric populations, ideally within school settings
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Commitment to providing individualized, student-centered therapy
• Ability to meet onboarding requirements, including fingerprinting and completion of signed contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct direct physical therapy sessions for assigned students, focusing on skill development and goal attainment
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educational staff and families
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with district standards
• Participate in team meetings and IEP processes as necessary
• Monitor and report progress, adapting interventions as needs evolve
