Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Osceola Mills, Pennsylvania

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid SLP license for the state
• Prior experience working in pediatric settings, preferably in schools
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and support staff
• Understanding of IEP processes and compliance with state/federal regulations
• Comfortable conducting evaluations, developing goals, and maintaining accurate documentation

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive speech and language assessments for students referred by school staff
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address students’ communication needs
• Monitor and document progress, updating plans as necessary to ensure student success
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations to teams and families
• Collaborate with teachers and other specialists to integrate therapeutic activities into the classroom
• Serve as a resource for parents and staff regarding speech and language development
• Maintain current documentation in compliance with district and legal requirements
