Paraprofessional in Vacaville, CA

Minimum 1 years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This part-time paraprofessional opportunity supports K-12 students in a dynamic school environment. The position, based in Vacaville, CA, spans the 2025-2026 academic year, starting January 12, 2025, and ending June 5, 2026. The role is ideal for applicants holding an active paraprofessional certification or license in California.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide classroom support primarily at the main site from Monday to Thursday.
• Assist in a Pre-K classroom daily from 9:15 AM to 12:15 PM, Monday through Friday.
• Alternate Fridays between preparation work at the primary site and classroom duties at a separate location.
• Perform diapering and other personal care tasks for young students as needed.

Qualifications:

• Valid active paraprofessional certification or license in California.
• Experience working in educational settings, particularly with Pre-K and K-12 students.
• Ability to manage diverse classroom environments and schedules.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Work Schedule:

• Part-time, 15 hours per week.
• Onsite position with consistent days and timings as outlined.

Location:

• The primary duty station is in Napa, CA, with some work in Vacaville, CA.
