Our school district is interviewing to hire Special Education Teachers to serve as our ARD Committee Managers. These Teachers will not work in classrooms.
Location: Southlake, TX
Job Duties:
- Full Time | 40 hours
- ASAP –EOSY option to extend 23/24 SY
- Scheduling and mailing notices for ARD committee meetings.
- Gathering relevant student data, such as, grades, attendance, behavior reports, progress monitoring data, universal screening results, previous and current evaluation reports.
- Preparing and finalizing required ARD committee paperwork.
- Facilitating the ARD committee meeting.
- Sending completed Individualized Education Program (IEP) documents to the parents or guardians and archiving in accordance with LEA procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or Master’s/Doctoral Degree in Special Education
- Active Special Education Teaching License in Texas
- Experience in ARD committee management not required
Hourly Pay Starting at $33 an hour , negotiable based on experience
