A Speech Language Pathologist is needed to support elementary students in a school setting located in Kenosha, WI. This position offers an excellent opportunity for both experienced professionals and new graduates looking to complete their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). The contract runs through the next school year with flexible scheduling options.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to elementary students.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Monitor progress and maintain accurate documentation.
- Utilize augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) techniques; training provided if needed.
- Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with families.
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred or SLP licensure eligible.
- Pediatric or school-based experience is a plus.
- New graduates completing their CFY are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work with elementary-aged children.
- AAC experience desired but not required.
