The department features eight dedicated IR rooms equipped with advanced Siemens, GE, and Philips imaging systems.Key Responsibilities:Scrub and assist during interventional radiology procedures, including complex embolizations, thrombectomies, biopsies, and more.Circulate by operating imaging equipment and providing necessary supplies during cases.Support daily operations alongside tech extenders who assist with room turnover and transport.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including neuroradiologists, neurosurgeons, and body interventional physicians.Desired Qualifications and Experience:Minimum of 2 years of IR experience, specifically in neuro or body interventional radiology at a Level 1 trauma center.Certified as ARRT-R or RCIS and current BLS certification required.Comfortable working with new graduates and participating in preceptorship.Ability to handle on-call responsibilities, including weekend and holiday coverage.Schedule:Options include 3 shifts of 12 hours, 4 shifts of 10 hours, or 5 shifts of 8.5 hours.On-call 3-4 days per month with weekend rotation approximately every 5th-6th weekend.Holiday work is mandatory as scheduled.Location Insight:Kernersville, NC, provides a welcoming community with a comfortable blend of suburban charm and metropolitan amenities.
