Key Qualifications:

• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and experience providing interpretation services in educational settings
• Current certification as a Sign Language Interpreter (such as EIPA, RID, or state credential)
• Familiarity with the unique needs of DHH students and ability to adapt communication styles accordingly
• Professional, reliable, and able to effectively collaborate with educators and staff
• Prior experience in school settings or with early childhood programs is highly valued

Responsibilities:

• Provide on-site ASL interpretation between a DHH student and staff during the school day
• Facilitate clear and effective communication to ensure full access to instruction and activities
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff as a language and cultural mediator

Role Details:
