Critical Care Nurse in Vallejo, CA

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.Deliver advanced patient care in a dynamic critical care environment, providing essential support across both ICU and Progressive Care Medical Unit (PMCU) settings. This contract position requires adaptability and expertise in managing a diverse patient population, including neuro, medical, trauma, vascular, and cardiothoracic cases within a 19-bed mixed ICU unit.Qualifications:Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license is mandatory.Recent experience with Epic electronic health records system within the last year to successfully complete the Epic pre-assessment test.Ability to float between ICU and PMCU units, with an understanding of a 3:1 patient-to-nurse ratio in the step-down care setting.Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification preferred due to trauma specialty cases.Location:This opportunity is based in Vallejo, CA, a vibrant city known for its waterfront charm, cultural diversity, and access to Bay Area attractions.
