An opportunity is available for a skilled Imaging Technologist specializing in CT and X-Ray within a brand-new Free Standing Emergency Room setting. This contract role is based in Blackfoot, ID, offering a unique chance to work with advanced imaging equipment and a dynamic healthcare team in a progressive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging studies, including CT scans and X-rays, ensuring accuracy and patient safety
- Operate advanced imaging equipment such as GE Revo Maxima CT, GE XR AMX Navigate, and GE Definium Tempo Pro
- Utilize documentation systems including GE PACS, Meditech, and Clario efficiently
- Collaborate with ER nurses, physicians, and security personnel to support patient care in a fast-paced setting
- Flexibility to occasionally work shifts at the main hospital campus to support diverse imaging needs
- Adhere to department dress code by wearing black scrubs and unit-specific policies and guidelines
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid ARRT certifications in CT and Radiography (ARRT-CT and ARRT-R) required
- Proven ability to work independently while maintaining excellent teamwork skills
- Experience performing diagnostic imaging studies, with no interventional procedures required
- Comfortable working in new and technology-driven environments
- Willingness to commit to a schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week
