Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop field service teams to deliver safe, high-quality service on power distribution equipment.
- Oversee scheduling, resource allocation, and operational workflows to maximize productivity and response times.
- Provide hands-on technical guidance and on-site supervision, ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards (IEEE, ANSI, NETA).
- Evaluate technician performance through regular site visits, work quality reviews, and coaching.
- Drive training initiatives to strengthen NETA testing, maintenance, and repair capabilities.
- Collaborate with Operations and Project Managers to resolve complex customer issues and enhance service delivery.
- Manage job costs, identify efficiency opportunities, and ensure accurate reporting and documentation.
- Serve as a technical liaison for customers, maintaining strong relationships and addressing escalated concerns.
- Ensure proper calibration, maintenance, and readiness of field service vehicles and test equipment.
- Stay current with advancements in power distribution technology to continuously improve service offerings.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or equivalent experience (10 years in transformer or electrical field service).
- 7 years of supervisory or managerial experience in field service operations, preferably with power transformers or high-voltage equipment.
- Deep technical expertise in transformer testing, diagnostics, maintenance, and repair.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments.
- Proficiency with industry standards (IEEE C57, NETA ATS/MTS), OSHA/NFPA 70E safety practices, and field service management tools.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% and respond to after-hours operational needs.
