What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full Service Technician position at Sunbelt-Solomon Services?
This position is responsible for the stacking process for a rewind transformer. The hours for this position are Monday-Thursday 6:00am to 4:30pm.
Day to day this role includes:
- Using a caliper and tape measure to create precise measurement which are used in the rewind process.
- Using a series of hand tools to complete the stacking of core steel.
- Cutting transformer lids.
- Basic data entry into labor system (MOM).
- Practicing safe behaviors by wearing proper protective equipment when handling core steel.
- May operate overhead crane or forklift as necessary.
- Must be willing and able to complete repetitive processes and stand for 8-10 hours a day.
- Cross train on set up, and teardown as needed
- Other duties as assigned
- Mechanical and electrical knowledge.
- Wiring experience is a plus.
- Cooperative attitude towards all internal and external customers.
- Help team members resolve questions.
- A dependable and strong work ethic, work safely.
- Professional language and conduct at all times.
- Technical, mechanical, or electrical experience/college is a plus.
