What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipper and Receiver position at SUNBELT SOLOMON SERVICES, LLC?
As a Shipper and Receiver, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely movement of equipment and materials in and out of our facility. This includes organizing shipments, receiving incoming materials, documenting transactions, and supporting the Rental Technicians with equipment logistics and handling.
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage
- Prepare and package outgoing rental and sales equipment
- Document shipping and receiving transactions accurately in the system
- Label and organize materials and equipment in the warehouse and yard
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks using forklifts or other equipment
- Support rental equipment staging, inventory, and movement
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse, and common areas
Equipment includes Automatic and manual transfer switches, distribution panels, dry/pad mount/substation transformers, cable, motor starters, breakers, splitters, and more across a range of voltages and amperage levels.
