What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Service Technician position at SUNBELT SOLOMON SERVICES, LLC?
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Follows safety guidelines for the area and all company policies and procedures
Requires travel up to 80% - 100% of the time
• Completes oil sampling, following SOP.
• Completes the work orders as assigned and complete daily tasks related to the repair order.
• Remove broken parts and prep units for transportation.
• Assist with completion of turn ratios, power factor test, and meg tests correctly as assigned.
• Safely utilize industrial equipment, following capacity and load limits.
• Follow all Environmental specifications for the area especially related to spill containment.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
• HS Diploma/GED, required.
• CDL, preferred.
• Must be willing to travel 80% of the year.
• HAZMAT 8 hour course, required.
• OSHA 10/30, MSHA training preferred.
• Self motivated - works independently, completes projects with minimal supervision.
• Previous manufacturing/shop experience, preferred.
• Prefer knowledge or related experience in prepping units for disposal following proper environmental disposal procedures.
• Basic understanding of Ohms Law and theory of transformer operations.
• Microsoft outlook experience, preferred.
