As a Field Service Technician, you'll play a key role in supporting our customers by inspecting, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining electrical power distribution equipment. You’ll work hands-on with a wide range of systems, deliver exceptional service, and be a trusted resource in the field representing Sunbelt Solomon.
What You’ll Do
- Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and maintain low-, medium-, and high-voltage electrical distribution equipment.
- Perform electrical testing on transformers, breakers, switchgear, relays, and related equipment.
- Respond to customer needs—including occasional emergency calls—with professionalism and urgency.
- Ensure a safe work environment by following company and customer safety standards.
- Maintain accurate daily reports and documentation.
- Properly manage, check in/out, and care for company tools and test equipment.
- Travel locally and regionally, with periodic overnight assignments.
