What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Forklift/ Reach Truck Operator position at Sunbelt Paper & Packaging?
We are looking for a responsible Warehouse Associate to participate in our warehouse operations and activities. Warehouse Worker responsibilities include storing materials, picking, packing, and operating any vehicles and equipment in the warehouse. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction
Responsibilities include:
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
- Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
- Report any discrepancies
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
- Operate warehouse vehicles and equipment in a safely manner
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
Requirements include:
- Ability to operate forklifts and equipment in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
- Reach truck experience is a plus!
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- High school degree
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects
