As our demand increases, we are seeking motivated solar installers to join our solar removal and reinstallation team. The Solar Installer will be responsible for the installation of solar panels and related equipment on residential and commercial properties, ensuring compliance with safety standards and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install solar panels and associated electrical systems on rooftops or ground mounts.
- Assist in preparing job sites, including loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment.
- Perform tasks such as securing mounting hardware, wiring connections, and ensuring proper alignment of solar panels.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Collaborate with crew leads and team members to complete installations on time and to high standards.
- Conduct basic maintenance and cleaning of tools and equipment.
- Adhere to all company policies, industry regulations, and local building codes.
What we're looking for:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in construction, roofing, or electrical work is a plus but not required.
- The ability to follow detailed instructions from crew leads and work effectively in a team is also essential.
- Physical stamina to perform labor-intensive tasks, including lifting heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs) and working at heights.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to OSHA guidelines.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Basic knowledge of tools and equipment used in solar installation is a plus.
