Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Custodian to join our team. The Custodian will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment, ensuring the premises are safe and functional for employees and visitors.
Duties:
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
- Empty trash receptacles and transport waste to disposal areas
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Perform minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs or fixing minor leaks
- Follow cleaning schedules and procedures to meet health and safety standards
Skills:
- Experience in facilities maintenance, industrial cleaning, or commercial cleaning
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and polishing
- Ability to operate custodial equipment such as floor buffers, vacuum cleaners, and cleaning chemicals
- Attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
