About the Role:
We are seeking a Bilingual HR Assistant to support our Human Resources Department in delivering a positive employee experience. The ideal candidate should be organized, proactive, and comfortable managing confidential information. The Human Resources Assistant will be a key point of contact for employee inquiries, helping maintain compliance, and supporting day-to-day HR operations.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee HR-related inquiries (in person, by phone, and by email).
- Issue written warnings and ensure all employee documentations are accurate and up-to-date.
- Distribute and manage HR paperwork (ex: contracts, disciplinary forms, benefits documentation, etc.).
- Assist in administering employee benefits programs and respond to benefits-related questions.
- Maintain and manage access to HR systems and employee portals (e.g., time tracking, payroll, onboarding platforms).
- Ensure HR records and files are organized and confidential.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Assist with reporting and audits when necessary.
- Translate and interpret documents and communication in English/Spanish..
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an HR or administrative support role
- Bilingual – fluent in both English and Spanish (spoken and written)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS platforms
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
