WHAT THE JOB IS:
- Assemble all racking systems and solar arrays per specifications
- Install grounding and DC wiring plus solar module connections
- Read and interpret drawings, layouts and wiring diagrams and take direction from a Lead or Foreman
- Trench, complete concrete work and equipment assembly as job requires
- Daily job site cleanup and organization of shared tools and materials
- Perform system testing and troubleshooting
- Operate equipment (Scissor, Boom and Forklifts - certified training provided as needed)
- Safe use of power tools (Drill, Impact, Bandsaw, Sawzall, Grinders, etc.)
- Contribute as a valued member of a team

THE DETAILS:
Commercial hours may vary depending on the job and location such as 5 days a week, 8 hours a day or 4 days a week, 10 hours a day. Overtime and overnight travel may be required with notice given. You must be comfortable climbing ladders or stairs, working on roof tops in hot, cold and inclement weather. You must be able to lift 50 to 70 lbs. regularly, and can push, pull, bend, stand or kneel for extended periods of time.
Owning a basic set of hand and power tools is necessary but the company can assist if needed. You must also have reliable transportation to the job site, carpooling is possible for out-of-town work. The starting pay range for this role is $22 to $25 per hour based on related experience. Opportunities for internal advancement are common for those who have excellent attendance and demonstrate initiative and the ability to follow directions and apply what they’ve learned.
A high school diploma or equivalent is not required; however, candidates must meet a minimum age of 20 or older for insurance and OSHA regulations based on the equipment operated in the role. Background checks and drug screens (excluding THC) will be performed on all final candidates. Employment eligibility verified through E-Verify.
