Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Infrastructure Assistant Project Manager to support the planning, coordination, and execution of electrical infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, including proficiency with construction management software and project scheduling tools, and have hands-on experience with construction site operations. This position is essential for ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and according to quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules, budgeting, and resource allocation for construction projects
- Support project managers in coordinating construction activities on-site and off-site
- Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure alignment with project specifications
- Collaborate with design teams utilizing Bluebeam, and other drafting tools for accurate project documentation
- Prepare and maintain project reports, RFIs, submittals, and as-built drawings.
- Aid in cost estimation processes using estimating software
- Monitor project progress, identify potential delays or issues, and communicate updates to stakeholders
- Assist in managing subcontractor relationships and ensuring compliance with safety standards
- Support procurement activities including tracking materials and equipment logistics
- Contribute to the preparation of reports, change orders, and project documentation
- Ensure adherence to project timelines through effective time management and task prioritization
Skills
- Proficiency with construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant tools
- Understanding construction estimating, contracts, blueprint reading, schematics, and project scheduling
- Experience with construction site operations and infrastructure projects
- Understanding of electrical construction methods, materials, codes, and municipal standards
- Excellent project management and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of construction site safety protocols and quality assurance procedures
- Effective communication skills for liaising between clients, contractors, vendors, and team members
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately
- Strong organizational skills with a focus on time management and meeting deadlines
Qualifications
- 2-5 Years in electrical construction (industrial/infrastructure projects preferred)
- Demonstrated experience in
