At Sun Shuttle & Transit we are seeking a reliable and responsible individual to join our team as a Bus Attendant.
As a Bus Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of passengers, particularly Adult Special needs during their bus transportation to their day programs. This is a vital role in providing a positive and comfortable experience for all passengers.
Assist our clients with boarding and exiting the bus safely- Maintain order and discipline among passengers to ensure a safe and peaceful environment
- Monitor passenger behavior and address any issues or concerns promptly and appropriately
- Collaborate with the bus driver to ensure smooth operation of the bus route
- Communicate effectively with passengers, parents, and program staff
- Provide basic first aid assistance if needed
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the bus interior
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols
Qualifications:
- Strong behavior management skills, particularly when dealing with adult special needs.
- Proficient in English language (both verbal and written)
