Construction Superintendent/Project Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Construction Superintendent/Project Manager to lead and oversee a complex construction projects from inception to completion. This role combines hands-on supervision with strategic project management, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in strict adherence to safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in commercial construction, excellent management skills, and proficiency with industry-leading construction management software. Your leadership will drive project success while fostering a collaborative team environment that prioritizes safety, efficiency, and excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of construction projects, coordinating schedules, resources, and personnel to meet project milestones.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless communication and workflow.
• Review construction drawings, technical specifications, and blueprints to verify accuracy and clarify project requirements.
• Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar software, monitoring progress and adjusting plans proactively.
• Oversee safety compliance on site by enforcing OSHA regulations and federal construction safety standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control, adherence to safety protocols, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage project budgets by tracking costs, processing change orders, and ensuring financial targets are met.
• Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Bluebeam for documentation, reporting, and communication.
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications to facilitate accurate execution of construction activities.
• Supervise crews directly or through foremen, providing guidance on technical tasks such as blueprint reading and construction schedule coordination.
• Review contracts and manage contractual obligations with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Ensure all work complies with construction regulations and industry best practices while maintaining a focus on safety and efficiency.

Experience

• Proven experience managing commercial or heavy civil construction projects from start to finish. Including earthwork, utilities, roadways and other infrastructure.
• Extensive background in construction site management with a focus on safety regulations including OSHA standards.
• Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and interpret complex specifications accurately.
• Strong proficiency in construction management software such as Primavera P6, Primavera P3, ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid or equivalent tools.
• Hands-on experience supervising teams in a fast-paced environment with excellent crew management skills.
• Knowledge of federal construction safety regulations alongside local building codes and industry standards.
• Skilled in project scheduling, budgeting, quality control processes, and managing multiple stakeholders effectively.
• Effective managerial communication skills with the ability to lead diverse teams while maintaining high morale and productivity.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
