Sun River Health is a Federally Qualified, Non-Profit Health Center that provides comprehensive primary, preventative and behavioral health services to all who seek it. Our mission is to increase access to quality health care, especially for the underserved and vulnerable. We are currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at our Peekskill site.
The successful candidate will render nursing care to patients, supporting medical care as directed by the medical staff. This role involves performing job duties in compliance with systems and job-specific standards, and additional duties or tasks as assigned. Key responsibilities include maintaining patient records, performing in-house labs, collecting specimens, and completing assigned tasks and logs.
To be eligible for this position, applicants must possess a High School Diploma or GED, with preferred education including Vocational/Technical School or a Nursing Diploma Program. A minimum of 0-1 year of work-related experience is required, with preferred experience ranging from 2-4 years. A valid New York State LPN License and CPR Certification are also essential.
