Position Overview
We are seeking experienced contractors/installers with a strong background in motorized screen and awning systems. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of handling installations from start to finish with professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Install motorized retractable screens and awnings (SunPro products)
- Perform site measurements and ensure accurate fit and alignment
- Mount housings, rails, motors, and electrical components
- Wire and program motors, remotes, and smart integrations (when applicable)
- Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues on-site
- Ensure all installations meet safety and quality standards
- Maintain clean and professional job sites
- Communicate clearly with customers and team members
Requirements
- Proven experience installing motorized screens, awnings, or similar systems
- Strong knowledge of tools, framing, and mounting techniques
- Basic electrical knowledge (low voltage/motor wiring preferred)
- Ability to read measurements and installation plans accurately
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Own basic tools (company provides specialty equipment)
- Ability to work outdoors in South Florida conditions
- Professional appearance and customer-friendly attitude
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SunPro or similar brands (e.g., Somfy motors)
- Construction, carpentry, or aluminum structure experience
- Ability to work independently or as part of a crew
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
