What You'll Do:
As a Bindery Operator, you are essential to maintaining our commitment to high-quality output and customer satisfaction. Your day-to-day will include:
- Comprehending job tickets and verifying all requirements and specifications.
- Setting up, adjusting, and operating bindery equipment, including folders, laminators, cutters, and binders.
- Monitoring and adjusting equipment during operation to maintain operating speed and quality specifications.
- Troubleshooting machine problems and communicating any quality concerns to the department lead.
- Performing routine machine maintenance, such as lubrication and replacing worn cutting blades with hand tools.
- Maintaining an organized and consistent stacking process for all completed work.
- Ensuring all work areas and tools are clean, in good working order, and free of safety hazards.
What You Bring to the Table:
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- 1 year of experience in machine bindery operation required.
- Mechanical aptitude with a strong troubleshooting mentality.
- Professional attendance and punctuality.
- Experience with safe pallet jack operation.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and 1 year of experience with Google Workspace.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stretch for extended periods, and lift/carry up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Compliance with security and confidentiality policies in alignment with SOC 2 requirements.
