Job Summary

Sun is hiring for a dedicated worker seeking a development opportunity in facilities or building operations in a corporate office environment. This role will work closely with the Facilities team on the overall maintenance and security of buildings, grounds and equipment for the Princeton and Cranbury, NJ locations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation, maintenance and repairs of building equipment/systems.
• Responsible for workstation relocations and set up of workstations for new hires.
• Responsible for facilities work request system and for completion of all preventive and customer requests.
• Orders, maintains inventory and stocks all office, kitchen and restroom supplies.
• Responsible for mail center operations, shipping and receiving.
  
  

Education & Qualifications

• High school diploma required. College or trade school preferred.
• Required to be proficient in the use of a computer including all Microsoft Office applications, email, internet researching and learning tools, and use of web-based applications.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to take direction and prioritize.
• Ability to work with power and hand tools and perform minor repairs and installations.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 70 pounds with material handling equipment.
• Minimum 2 years relevant work experience in construction, working for specific trade, working in facilities maintenance. Relevant education or certification will be considered in lieu of experience.
• Experience with general shipping and receiving/mailroom and online shipping systems preferred.
• Experience operating or monitoring computer-based building card access and security systems preferred.
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing and HVAC mechanical / control systems.
  
  

The presently-anticipated base compensation pay range for this position is $84,500 to $103,500. Actual base compensation may vary based on a number of factors, including but not limited to geographical location and experience. In addition, this position is part of the Annual Performance Bonus Plan. Employees are eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs which include medical, dental and vision coverage; life insurance; disability insurance; 401(k) savings plan; flexible spending accounts; and the employee assistance program. Employees also receive various paid time off benefits, including vacation time and sick time.
