We are seeking an energetic, organized, and patient-focused Front Desk & Referral Coordinator to join our fast-paced, multidisciplinary medical practice. Our clinic provides Pain Management, Behavioral Health, and Physical Therapy services, working together to improve the lives of patients living with chronic pain.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with patients, thrives in a busy environment, and excels at multitasking while maintaining exceptional customer service.
What You'll Do
As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play an essential role in creating a positive patient experience while ensuring smooth daily clinic operations.
Responsibilities
- Welcome patients and provide exceptional customer service
- Check patients in and out efficiently
- Collect copays, balances, and process patient payments
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits
- Schedule and reschedule appointments across multiple specialties
- Answer and direct calls on a busy multiline phone system
- Manage incoming and outgoing referrals for Pain Management, Behavioral Health, and Physical Therapy
- Coordinate with providers, referring offices, and insurance companies
- Obtain and organize medical records as needed
- Maintain accurate patient demographics and insurance information
- Assist with daily administrative and front office operations
- Float between clinic locations as needed to support patient care and staffing needs
What We're Looking For
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to remain professional in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable learning multiple workflows and electronic medical records
- Experience with insurance verification and referrals preferred
- Medical front office experience preferred
- Experience in eClinicalWorks (eCW) is a plus
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required
