- Obtains product quantity and variety to be pasteurized from blending leader.
- Ensure that all controls of sanitation are met prior use of equipment.
- Monitor Temperature and Pressure of the equipment and juice. Notify blending lead and QA if there is a deviation.
- Secure all necessary connections to holding tank.
- Transfer juice to bottling when pasteurizer has reached the desired temperature.
- Clean bottling transfer lines, holding tanks, and receiving lines using the CIP system.
- Communicates with bottling team to determine accurate quantities are delivered.
- Completes paper work recording number of gallons pasteurized, temperatures, time, etc.
- Clean or CIP pasteurizer according to specification.
- Follows all company policies and procedures regarding GMP’s, SOP’s and Quality standards.
- Other duties as assigned or required.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: 2 - 5 years of experience with pasteurization.
- Language/Communications: Ability to read and interpret basic instructional details and related information.
- Reasoning: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software; Manufacturing software; and general email writing and online research skills
