About Sun Oaks Sun Oaks Tennis & Fitness is Northern California's premier racquet sports and fitness facility, featuring multiple tennis and pickleball courts, a full fitness center, spa, and retail. We're a close-knit, member-focused club with a strong community culture and an exciting growth phase — including a major expansion of our pickleball programming.
The Role We're looking for an energetic, skilled, and personable Pickleball & Tennis Professional to lead and grow our racquet sports programs. This is a part-time position, with growth opportunity to full-time, and real upside for someone who wants to build something — our pickleball program is expanding and we want a pro who's excited to grow with it.
Responsibilities
- Teach private and group pickleball and tennis lessons across all skill levels
- Develop and run clinics, leagues, and programming (beginner nights, round robins, competitive training, etc.)
- Build relationships with members and drive lesson and program revenue
- Assist with court scheduling and racquet sports operations
- Represent Sun Oaks at community and promotional events
Qualifications
- Pickleball teaching experience required.
- Tennis teaching background a strong plus.
- Outgoing, professional, and genuinely passionate about the sport and growing the game
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
