Role Overview
The Sales Finance Manager will serve as a critical business partner between the Sales, Operations and Finance teams. This role is responsible for leading the monthly sales forecasting process, working directly with sales representatives to gather customer- and SKU-level inputs, and delivering accurate, timely reports and analysis to support data-driven decision-making. Reporting directly to the President—while maintaining strong working relationships with Sales, Operations, and Finance leadership—this position ensures financial discipline, visibility, and alignment with overall business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Full P&L ownership of the sales function
- Margin analysis and COGS management
- Pricing analysis and evaluation
- Variance tracking — forecast vs. budget vs. actuals
- Lead the annual budgeting cycle
- Process standardization across reporting and forecasting
- Drive automation initiatives in partnership with IT and BI teams
Technical Skills (Must Have):
- Advanced Excel modeling
- ERP system experience (Business Central or equivalent)
- BI/reporting tool proficiency (Power BI)
Nice to have:
CPG experience
Understanding of S&OPS process and or Demand Planning experience
Experience & Qualifications
- Must LOVE noodles!
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in Sales Finance, FP&A, Commercial Finance, or related analytical role.
- Strong understanding of revenue forecasting, pricing, COGS/margins, and sales processes.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, modeling).
- Experience with ERP systems and BI/reporting tools (e.g., Business Central, Power BI, Tableau).
- Excellent communication skills, especially in gathering inputs from non‑finance stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large data sets.
Qualifications – Preferred
- Experience in CPG, food manufacturing, distribution, or high-SKU environments.
- Prior experience collaborating with field sales teams.
- Knowledge of demand planning or S&OP processes.
- Demonstrated ability to build structure in ambiguous or fast‑paced environments.
