Excel Data Specialist

Position Summary
The Excel Data Specialist is responsible for analyzing, organizing, and maintaining data using advanced Excel skills. This role supports business operations by preparing reports, improving data accuracy, and creating tools that help teams make faster and better decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Validate, and organize large data sets for reporting and analysis.
• Build and maintain advanced Excel tools, such as dashboards, trackers, calculators, and data models.
• Use formulas, pivot tables, and functions (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, SUMIFS, IF/IFS, TEXT functions, etc.) for accurate data manipulation.
• Identify data errors, inconsistencies, and gaps; recommend improvements or corrections.
• Produce clear, easy-to-read charts, tables, and visual summaries for management.
• Collaborate with operations, finance, and leadership to support reporting needs.
• Maintain documentation for spreadsheets, formulas, and data processes.
• Support data imports/exports between Excel and other systems (ERP, accounting, production logs, etc.).

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• Must LOVE noodles!
• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• Strong proficiency in Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, data cleaning, and data visualization.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping
• Experience with ERP systems is a plus
• Experience using Power Query, Macros, or VBA is a plus
• Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus
