We are a company that strives for a healthy life-work balance and a dog-friendly environment.Position Description:The Warehouse Assistant will collaborate closely with the Procurement Manager and warehouse team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include receiving and processing deliveries, preparing materials for job mobilizations, performing pickups and deliveries to job sites, maintaining inventory and supplies, and ensuring the warehouse remains clean, organized, and efficient.Responsibilities:Inventory SupportUnload incoming shipments, verify contents against order forms, ensure goods are in good condition, and process packing slipsPick and pull materials from inventory for projects as listed, update project material records, and interact with accounting software to maintain inventory levelsRestock materials returned from projectsMaintain accurate inventory records, perform cycle counts, and identify discrepanciesForklift operationProject SupportSafely prepare, load and strap materials to vehicles for material mobilizationsPickup and deliver materials from suppliers to projects as neededWarehouse SupportMaintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouses and parking lotPerform small construction projects within warehouseQualifications:Must have valid CA drivers license and a clean driving record to allow for driving of company vehicleMust be able to work on feet all day and lift up to 50 lbs unassisted, 100 lbs assistedMust be able to work as early as 6am every dayDetail-oriented and well organizedAble to communicate clearly and effectively with othersAbility to use computer systems for inventory management and order processing.Self-motivated and able to work effectively as part of a teamExperience with general plumbing and electrical materials a plusFamiliarity with warehouse equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks.Handyperson abilities a plusBenefits:Sun Light & Power offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes, but is not limited to:Health- Sun Light & Power offers 8 different medical plans through Health Net and Kaiser.
