The Role
The Food & Beverage Director is the driving force behind all dining and event operations, from elegant club restaurants to lively banquets and unforgettable special events. You'll blend strategic planning with hands-on leadership to ensure flawless execution, financial success, and an atmosphere that keeps members coming back for more.
Schedule: Full-time Salaried Exempt, Tuesday through Saturday.
What You'll Do
- Lead & Inspire: Recruit, train, and mentor a talented team of managers, chefs, and service staff while fostering a culture of excellence and hospitality.
- Deliver Memorable Experiences: Oversee restaurants, catering, and large-scale events, ensuring top-tier food, beverage, and service quality every day.
- Strategize & Optimize: Create and manage budgets, control costs, and implement smart purchasing and inventory practices.
- Elevate Standards: Uphold impeccable cleanliness, safety, and presentation across all kitchens, dining rooms, and banquet spaces.
- Collaborate & Create: Work closely with members and department leaders to plan special events and seasonal menus that surprise and delight.
What We're Looking For
- Proven leadership in food & beverage management—country club or upscale resort experience is a plus.
- Strong organizational, financial, and communication skills.
- Ability to stay cool under pressure and inspire a positive team spirit.
- Culinary certification or hospitality degree preferred.
- Familiarity with Jonas POS/accounting software is a bonus.
