GENERAL SUMMARY:

This person is to load and unload product using a fork truck into various types of trucks and trailers. They are to fill out any paperwork, check in or out shipments, perform inventory on a monthly basis, calculate and pull case goods lifting up to 70 lbs. They will also be required to perform forklift inspections daily, work in a safe manner and complete any other duties assigned by management and or team leaders.

Target Salary range is at $19.50-$24.00/hr

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Knowing how to read the bill of ladings and load logs
• Loading the proper product.
• Filling all of the paperwork out correctly (this includes matching purchase orders, receiving’s, and placing these papers in the proper boxes).
• Placing all safety devices (wheel chocks, safety chains, loading plates etc.) on the trailers that they are working on.
• Breaking full pallets of product down to make partial pallets for special loads.
• Maintain a professional work attitude with the truck drivers that come in the facility and with the office personnel.
• Keep yard clean and organized.
• Drive safely at all times.
• Be able to lift 70 lbs.
• Any other duties assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two years’ experience in field a plus.
• Computer knowledge a plus
  
  

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
• Knowledge of forklift operations.
• At least a valid Class C drivers license
