Commercial HVAC Estimator
Base Salary Commission | $150,000–$250,000 yearly
Full-Time | Portland, OR Monday through Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Join Sun Glow Inc.'s growing commercial division as a Commercial HVAC Estimator, using your industry knowledge to review plans, perform takeoffs, prepare accurate and competitive estimates, and help secure profitable commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate, competitive estimates for commercial HVAC projects
- Review plans, specifications, and bid documents
- Perform material, equipment, and labor takeoffs
- Develop project budgets, proposals, and bid packages
- Build and maintain estimating worksheets and cost breakdowns in Microsoft Excel
- Communicate with contractors, customers, vendors, and internal teams
- Coordinate with project management and field teams on awarded projects

Required Qualifications
- 3 years of commercial HVAC estimating experience
- Strong understanding of commercial HVAC equipment, materials, and installation practices
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, mechanical plans, specifications, and bid documents
- Experience preparing competitive commercial bid proposals and project budgets
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple estimates, priorities, and bid deadlines simultaneously
- Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills
- Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
