The company is continuously expanding and we are currently seeking a Project Assistant, for our branch in Liverpool, NY
- This position is not remote.
- Monday - Friday 8:00 am-4:00pm
Job Summary
A Project Assistant is responsible for supporting the planning, execution, and billing of projects under the direct supervision of the Project Management team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Project Management Teams in the planning and execution of projects by coordinating various project paperwork, activities, resources, timelines, and project set-up folders.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including opportunities, quotes, project plans, schedules, status reports, and project set-up folders.
- Track project shipping documents and other paperwork such as waste manifests, daily field reports, and safety related forms from project beginning to completion.
- Provide Project Management with clear and concise status of project billings, collections, and AR from assigned Clients.
- Act as a liaison between Project Management and Client AP depart.to resolve issues that can result in billing or payment delays.
- Maintain an exceptional high level of accuracy and attention to detail with all assignments.
- Assist Project Management with providing world class customer service with our Clients at all times.
- Ensure that time sensitive tasks are completed in a timely manner to meet regulatory and Sun Environmental policies.
- Work closely with your assigned Project Management team to foster a collaborative and positive working environment.
- Support the entire Sun Environmental team in achieving an injury free workplace, and all other goals and objectives.
Qualifications:
- Associates degree in a related field preferred (e.g., business, project management, communications, environmental).
- Proven experience in project coordination or a similar role.
- Experience with project management (CRM) or waste tracking tools and software preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Familiarity with accounting/billing and quoting software.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
