A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT
In this position as an assistant to the PM, you provide support to the project manager by coordinating activities related to projects. You ensure the continuity and efficiency of each project from start to finish through clear communication to all who are involved. You work in close collaboration with owners and general contractors to ensure quality and to arrange the cost and schedule of projects. With attention to detail, you see to it that all plans are in accordance with county and state regulations. Whether you're in the office doing estimates, submittals, and paperwork or out in the field, you do your job with accuracy. It is rewarding to know that you are the right-hand assistant, helping our project manager accomplish goals and meet customers' needs.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT
- Minimum 2 years of Project Manager Assistant experience
- Experience as a construction assistant
- General understanding of construction principles and practices
- Valid driver's license
- Strong computer skills
- Fluency in English
